Tech issues don’t have to be roadblocks – especially when you have a clear, user-friendly video that makes solutions easy to follow. This instructional video explains how to power an iPad on and off without using the physical power button, offering viewers two quick and reliable alternatives. Designed to be clear, helpful, and accessible, the video was part of a support content initiative aimed at reducing frustration and increasing confidence with everyday tech fixes.
I took full creative and technical ownership of the project – starting with storyboarding to outline a smooth, step-by-step viewer journey. From there, I sourced and edited high-quality stock footage, enhanced it with custom motion graphics in After Effects, and brought the narrative to life using an AI-generated voiceover tailored to the tone and pacing of the content. Subtle yet effective music, color grading, and subtitle integration ensured the final result was polished and professional across all devices.
The production also blended cutting-edge AI tools within Adobe Premiere Pro to streamline editing, and I created 3D animated assets in Blender to visually explain specific steps that were hard to capture with footage alone. Every element was carefully chosen to keep the focus on clarity and ease of understanding – from transitions to timing to typography.
This project is a great example of how I blend storytelling, design thinking, and emerging tech to create instructional content that’s both functional and engaging. Whether for marketing or user education, I aim to make complex topics feel approachable – and leave the viewer feeling empowered.
